Domestic donation recipients

We at Zonta are working with the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters (ETKL) to eliminate dating violence among young people. We are promoting the Wonderful Dating project so that everyone can date safely.

We are raising funds for the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters’ project, which trains school professionals to talk about safe dating and recognise dating violence.

The aim is to support female students and researchers in Finland and Estonia by awarding scholarships through a fund administered by District 20. The Scholarship Committee decides annually on the themes for which grants are awarded.

International destinations

Your donation will provide concrete help where girls and women are most disadvantaged. The Zonta organisation promotes equality through international service projects in places where girls and women are most disadvantaged.  The projects focus on promoting women’s health, education and economic empowerment, as well as eliminating gender-based violence, child marriage and human trafficking. Zonta International’s international service projects are implemented by UN agencies.
