Zonta International (ZI) is a global, volunteer-led human rights organization dedicated to advancing gender equality and preventing violence against women and girls.
Zonta’s key focus areas for 2024–2026 are:
- Promoting gender equality
- Preventing gender-based violence
- Ending child marriage
- Expanding access to education
- Addressing the gendered impacts of climate change
- Advancing women into decision-making positions
Zonta works through practical projects and campaigns and by participating in forums that promote and monitor women’s rights.
Across 63 countries, 26,000 Zontians volunteer to advance women’s rights and gender equality, raise funds, and support both local and international projects. Every two-year term, €4.8 million is invested in Zonta International’s projects and scholarship programs.
