Dear Zontians,

I cannot wait to welcome you to Zonta International’s 65th Convention in the lovely Hamburg, Germany, in June 2022.

This will be a special convention, as it is the first one of our second century of empowering women through service and advocacy. It will also be our first convention in four years, as we had to cancel our 2020 centennial celebration in Chicago. I know I am eager to reconnect with Zonta friends and to meet new friends. I hope you are too!

It is my pleasure to introduce the four chairmen who will expertly plan this memorably and enjoyable event:

• Ellen Karo, Zonta Club of New York,USA.
• Britta Becker, Zonta Club of Hamburg-Elbufer, Germany.
• Frauke Pape, Zonta Club of Kiel, Germany.

With the leadership of the Convention Committee and support from the Zonta clubs of Hamburg, District 27 and Governor Ann Naets, I am confident that our 65th Convention will be an unforgettable event.

While we understand we are still living in uncertain times, we believe it is vital that we come together to conduct Zonta business, enjoy fellowship with our fellow members from around the globe and learn more about the challenges facing women and girls.
